Showcasing Taylor talent
For over a quarter century Taylor, Mississippi (pop. 290) has been home to an award-winning community of professional artists including painters, potters, furniture makers, photographers, sculptors, and more. Their work is showcased in the Taylor Arts gallery, a turn-of-the-century house with wraparound porch, high ceilings, bead-board walls, and five rooms of spectacular art.
National magazines and television shows have featured the gallery, noting its high-quality affordable art, and wide variety of mediums and styles all displayed in a cottage setting. Owners and artists Marc Deloach, a furniture maker, and Christine Schultz, a painter and photographer, can often be found at work in their onsite studios and will be glad to tell you more.
