The Artwork

Christine has been a professional writer, editor, and photographer for over a quarter century and a self-taught artist for more than a dozen years. She wrote The Book of Love and published in Hallmark Books, Rodale, US Airway's Attache, Southwest's Spirit, The Old Farmer's Almanac, Yankee, The Travel Guide to New England, Memphis, and many more. She's the winner of a NEA grant. Her efforts won the town the Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts. After years of seeing the world in black and white, she tried her hand at acrylic paints and is now recognized for her vibrant colors, rich textures, and iconic rustic imagery. Magazines have commissioned her photos and illustrations. Art lovers in the U.S. and abroad have collected her work. Her wood fish and paintings were showcased in the Southern Living Idea House and on the cover of the magazine. She also makes silver and leather jewelry and was commissioned by Delta Magazine to design a line of "Delta River" earrings and bracelets.
