The Venue
After six years of successful music shows and 150-plus private events at The Big Truck Theater, we are no longer booking functions. We're in the process of revamping the interior and are talking to entrepreneurs who'd like to lease or buy the building to run their own business. The Big Truck Theater is a rustic 3,400-square-foot space with rusted tin ceilings, wideboard cypress walls, an elevated stage, cement floor, overhead windows, 10' x 10' doors that open onto a bay area, an entrance hall, a porch area, and a 1960 Ford flatbed truck. The facility also includes bathrooms, central heat and air, onsite parking, a catering kitchen, an adjacent active gallery, other available buildings, a corner location in downtown Taylor, and a great reputation with tens of thousands of attendees.
